Sometimes Motherhood Feels More Burdensome Than You Expected
You love your children deeply, but that doesn't mean motherhood is always easy.
Maybe you're overwhelmed and exhausted. Maybe you're struggling with guilt, anger, patience, routines, discipline, or simply trying to keep everything together.
Perhaps you've read the parenting books and listened to all the advice, but you're still wondering, What am I supposed to do in my situation, with my children and my life?
Sometimes you don't need more information.
You need someone to talk to who understands motherhood.
My private mentoring sessions give you a supportive space to talk honestly about what is happening without feeling judged for struggling.
As a mother of six who has spent more than twenty-six years raising and homeschooling children, I understand that motherhood isn't something you can reduce to a perfect parenting formula.
Every mother is different. Every child is different. Every home is different.
Together, we can look at what is making motherhood difficult for you right now and work toward practical changes that actually fit your family.
Sometimes you need better routines and structure.
Sometimes you need help with your child's behavior.
Sometimes you're carrying too much and need to simplify.
Sometimes guilt and unrealistic expectations are stealing your joy.
Sometimes you need to change the way you're responding to your children.
And sometimes you're simply a tired mother who needs someone to remind you that you don't have to solve everything at once.
You can bring whatever is weighing on you as a mother, including overwhelm, mom guilt, anger and patience, parenting challenges, discipline, routines, homeschooling, organization, difficult stages, relationships with your children, balancing your responsibilities, self-care, or simply not enjoying motherhood the way you thought you would.
You don't need to know exactly what the problem is. We can uncover that together.
I believe peaceful motherhood isn't about becoming a perfect mother.
It is about understanding yourself, understanding your children, becoming more intentional about the way you mother, and learning how to create more peace within yourself and your home.
My mentoring combines Islamic values, practical guidance, my background in psychology and education, and the lessons I have learned from raising six children through many different seasons of motherhood.
I will not give you another impossible standard to live up to.
Instead, we will look at what is happening, what you actually need, what is within your control, and what practical changes could make motherhood feel more manageable and enjoyable again.
During our time together, we will focus on your particular motherhood situation and what you need help with right now.
Come with your questions, concerns, frustrations, or simply what has been weighing on your heart.
We will talk it through together and focus on giving you clarity and practical next steps that fit you, your children, and your family.
You want private, faith-centered guidance about motherhood, you have a particular parenting or motherhood issue you need help working through, or you simply need an experienced Muslim mother to listen and help you see your situation more clearly.
If motherhood feels overwhelming in several areas, you're struggling with long-standing patterns, or you feel like you've lost your peace and need more than one conversation, The Motherhood Reset program may be a better fit.
The Motherhood Reset gives us more time to look at the bigger picture, understand what is making motherhood so difficult for you, and work together on practical changes to help you become a calmer, more confident, and more tranquil mother.
Mothers spend so much time caring for everyone else that we often convince ourselves we should simply figure things out on our own.
But sometimes a little guidance can change the way you see the entire situation.
If motherhood has been feeling heavier than it should, let's talk about it.
