1. What is the difference between Private Mentoring and the Mentoring Reset Programs?
Tranquil Muslima Private Mentoring is an individual 60-minute session for Muslim women who have a specific concern, need clarity about a situation, or simply want someone experienced to talk things through with. You can book individual sessions whenever you need support.
The Marriage Reset and The Motherhood Reset are structured 8-session programs for women who want to work more deeply on their marriage or motherhood over 8–10 weeks. Rather than focusing on one immediate concern, we have time to understand recurring patterns, make practical changes, and work toward lasting improvement.
2. How do I know which one I need?
If you have a particular issue, need some guidance, or simply want to talk through what is happening before deciding what to do next, start with private Mentoring For Wives or Mentoring For Mothers.
If you're dealing with long-standing or recurring patterns and feel that one conversation won't be enough, The Marriage Reset or The Motherhood Reset may be a better fit.
3. What kinds of mentoring do you offer?
I offer private mentoring for:
Marriage: for Muslim wives seeking guidance with marriage and relationships
Motherhood: for Muslim mothers seeking guidance with parenting and motherhood
Muslim Women: for personal challenges, faith, relationships, life transitions, and single women preparing for marriage
Business: for Muslim women who want practical help with blogging, websites, writing, publishing, digital products, or building something of their own
You don't have to know exactly which category your situation fits into. If you're unsure, email tranquilmuslima@gmail.com.
4. Is your mentoring Islamic?
Yes. My approach is rooted in Islamic values while also drawing upon practical principles, communication skills, my educational background, and decades of real-life experience as a wife and mother.
My goal is to help you approach your situation in a way that protects your faith, dignity, wellbeing, and family.
5. Who is Zakeeya?
I'm a wife of over twenty-six years, mother of six, author, teacher, homeschooler, and mentor to Muslim women.
My educational background includes psychology, sociology, information science, Islamic studies, naturopathy, and various relationship and communication courses. My mentoring also draws heavily from something equally important to me: real-life experience.
You can learn more about me on my About page.
6. Are you going to tell me everything is my fault?
No. I believe strongly in personal responsibility without self-blame.
There is a difference between honestly examining your own behavior and taking responsibility for someone else's. We can look at your communication, reactions, expectations, boundaries, habits, and choices while still recognizing where other people are responsible for their own actions.
7. Is this counseling or therapy?
No. I provide mentoring, education, and practical guidance, not psychotherapy, mental health treatment, licensed counseling, medical care, or legal advice.
If your situation requires specialized professional support, I may encourage you to seek that additional help.
8. What if I am facing abuse?
Tranquil Muslima Mentoring is not a substitute for domestic-violence services, legal assistance, emergency intervention, or specialized abuse counseling.
If you are experiencing physical violence, threats, coercion, serious abuse, or immediate danger, your safety takes priority. I urge you to please seek appropriate professional or emergency assistance as soon as possible.
9. What happens during a Private Mentoring session?
You tell me what has been happening and what you need help with.
I will listen, ask questions, help you look at the situation from different angles, identify what may be underneath the problem, and help you determine practical next steps.
You don't need to prepare a perfect explanation. Simply come to your 60-minute session ready to talk honestly about what is weighing on you.
10. What happens during The Marriage Reset or Motherhood Reset?
Both Reset Programs include eight private 60-minute sessions over approximately 8–10 weeks.
The Marriage Reset moves through:
Understand → Change → Reconnect → Renew
The Motherhood Reset moves through:
Understand → Reset → Reconnect → Renew
You will also receive your Reset Workbook, personalized weekly action steps, between-session email support, progress review, and a personalized 90-Day Renewal Plan.
11. Is what I share private?
Your privacy is important to me, and I treat what you share during mentoring with care and discretion. Your matter is an amanah (trust), guaranteed!
12. Can I book another session after Private Mentoring?
Yes. If you need another conversation, you are welcome to book another Private Mentoring session as a returning client.
If it becomes clear that you need deeper and more structured support, we can discuss whether The Marriage Reset or The Motherhood Reset would be a better fit.
13. Do you offer any discounts?
Yes. I understand that stay-at-home mothers, widows, and those facing genuine financial hardship may not have the same access to personal income.
For information about a discounted rate for Private Mentoring as well as The Resets please email tranquilmuslima@gmail.com.
14. Do you work with women outside the United States?
